Backloading between Brisbane and Hobart

Moving Again provides a backload moving services daily on all routes travelling between Brisbane and Hobart.

All backloading removal jobs we handle are performed to the same high-quality standard as all other jobs, however, we offer a more affordable price due to you being a little more flexible with the schedule of the move. To put it simply, if you can allow us to pick up within a 48-hour window instead of on a specific day, we’ll drop your price down as thanks for making our job a little easier.

Just last week we moved someone with 33m3 of furniture from Brisbane to Hobart.

They were flexible, just needed to be picked up asap and we got them moving with just 3 days notice! Because of that flexibility we were able to knock a good chunk off their total moving price, so they could spend that money on more important things.

Do I need removalist insurance?

If you are moving a long distance, then you should consider removalist insurance. You would not drive your car without insurance; you have home contents insurance, maybe even you have health insurance

When moving interstate there are always inherent risks involved, so please do check all your options. If you’re putting items in storage - get coverage, to protect against loss or damage. You want to enjoy your new home. Not mourn the loss of expensive furniture or belongings. Moving insurance is your answer.

Hi there, I wanted to express my gratitude at such a great service.

My items were shipped so quickly and without any fuss, the communication from Brodie was fantastic in keeping me informed along the way.

I will be recommending this service to my friends.

Kind Regards Elisa

To The Manager

I am writing to let you know that I just used your company's services to relocate some items from Sydney to Brisbane.

The 2 young men who I dealt with, for my relocation of items were excellent.

Both Jarryd and Cody were efficient, well spoken and presented in a professional manner.

Dear Moving Again,

Thanks for your follow up email.

Unfortunately our circumstances have changed and we no longer need removal, but if we do need to or know of someone who does, we will definitely recommend your company.

Greatly appreciated for your assistance,

Regards, Daryl

What exactly is a Backload?

Backloads are very common practice within the moving industry. To put it simply, we use any excess space left over for smaller, less urgent jobs and offer a reduced rate to customers for this space.

As an example a driver was going from Brisbane to Hobart in a 60m3 truck, and had booked in a customer that took up 50m3 of the space in the truck, they would then look for a backload job to fill up the last 10m3 of space, and offer that customer a reduced price to move to Hobart on their upcoming trip.

We also utilise the backloading method for return trips, as it is common for drivers to be able to fill themselves up when leaving Brisbane, but they often struggle to fill up when returning from Hobart. This is where we come in and help secure customers space and drivers extra work for their trip.

You can even book backloads way into the future our drivers will always prioritize making sure their trucks are fully booked rather than hanging out for last minute jobs, but a backload will always work for short notice, last minute moves.

Customers get an amazing, competitive price, drivers get full trucks. Everybody wins! Click here for more info on Backloads.

Interstate Moving Tips and Advice

The items that take the most time organising are small things like crockery, cutlery, books, clothes etc. Pack these items into the right size boxes.

Those plastic storage tubs aren’t very good. You may think they’re the best option but they’re brittle and can’t withstand weight when stacked high in the truck so they crack & break, risking damage to anything packed inside.

Flat pack or dismantle as much as possible

Just a short note to thank your company for the excellent service we experienced when you moved our daughter. Everyone Jason, Mandy, Johno and his offsider(didn't catch his name) were all extremely professional and helpful. I have nothing but praise for them all, and appreciate the manner in which the move was organised. Thank you all. Susie Gentry09/10/2014

Moving again was recommended to me by a friend and I found using them for my move was fantastic. Gold Coast Moves were my guys that did my job and Kent and Jett were amazing. If I'm ever going to be relocating again I would use them in a heartbeat and will be recommending them to anyone in need of a removalist. Thanks Kent and Jett, you guys were so wonderful and professional to deal with...Ginger Angel20/11/2018
