All backloading removal jobs we handle are performed to the same high-quality standard as all other jobs, however, we offer a more affordable price due to you being a little more flexible with the schedule of the move. To put it simply, if you can allow us to pick up within a 48-hour window instead of on a specific day, we’ll drop your price down as thanks for making our job a little easier.
Just last week we moved someone with 8m3 of furniture from Melbourne to Perth.
They were flexible, just needed to be collected immediately and we collected their items with just 3 days notice! Because of that flexibility we were able to offer a good discount off their total moving price, so they could use that money on more important things.

Popular Backloading Routes
What exactly is a Backload?
Backloads are very common practice within the furniture moving industry. Simply put, we make use of any excess space left over for smaller, less urgent jobs and offer a discounted rate to customers for this space.
For example a driver was going from Melbourne to Perth in a 60m3 removalist truck, and had a customer booked in that took up 50m3 of the trucks space, they would then look for a backload job to fill up the last 10m3 of space left in the truck, and offer that customer a discounted price to move to Perth on their upcoming trip.
We also utilise the backloading method for return journey, as it is common for drivers to be able to fill themselves up when leaving Melbourne, but they often struggle to fill up when returning from Perth. This is where we come in and help secure customers space and drivers extra work for their trip.
You can even book backloads well into the future our drivers will always prioritize making sure their trucks are fully booked rather than hanging out for last minute jobs, but a backload will always work for short notice, last minute moves.
Customers get an amazing, competitive price, drivers get full trucks. Everybody wins! Click here for more info on Backload.

Interstate Moving Tips and Advice
Try to keep them to a weight you feel comfortable carrying. Pack your books flat and alternate the bindings so they stack evenly.
If your outdoor furniture is too heavy or bulky to move intact, disassemble what you can and place the nuts and bolts in a plastic bag and placed in a box
The items that take the most time organising are small things like crockery, cutlery, books, clothes etc. Pack these items into the right size boxes.
